One of the things that people always say, is that black people don't support each other. For a long time I thought this to be true, but I realized that this is not true. We are not as supportive as we should be, but with the Sister INC.network we will change this. This is not just a network to get together and have a few drinks and talk about what's happening with the man and the children. This network is here to support African American women who have dreams of starting and running their own business. We are hear to support those who have started their own business, but want to expand. We are here to help uplift those who are feeling like they have no where to turn and no one understands what's happening.

We are here to provide solutions to three of the most critical problems for entrepreneurs;

* Finding Money For Your Business- This by far is the number one problem for most start-ups. I am constantly asked when I give workshops, where can I find the money to start this business. Sister INC'ssolutions to this problem is to create our own source of funding from the proceeds of the products that we sell on this site. We don't have time anymore to chase down grants that does not exist. We are tired of the lending institutions telling us that we don't qualify for the loan. Sure some of us have had problems in the past that have caused our credit to be not so good, but if you could just have a second chance at living your dreams I believe that this time would be different.

Whatever we can do for our members to help them create businesses that are enjoyable and profitable we will do. We are here to help you succeed.

*Your Support System- This is the third thing that seems to be a problem for businesses. They don't have a good support system in place. A good support system is so important. There will be times when you just don't seem to know how you are going to make it and no one around seems to care. That is the worst feeling in the world. Another horrible feeling is when you are so excited about your business and all you can get is negative feedback from people telling you what you can't do and what you should do. Our goal is to keep the lines of communication open by taking your questions and concerns and sending them out to the group so that you can get feedback that will help you. We want to encourage the women in our network to find a partner who they can talk to when things are not going so good. Sometimes we overlook small things that, just by talking to someone else becomes so clear, and that maybe all it takes to get you back on track. This is the kind of support we will have here.
